Bentonite Clay Bath Recipe

Maria Wihl
The Clay Detox Bath Recipe is beneficial because it helps remove harmful toxins from our skin while replenishing essential minerals like sodium, calcium, zinc, magnesium, iron, and more.

Equipment

  • 1 Plastic Spoon and Bowl

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Dissolve the Epsom salts in a warm/hot bath and add essential oils if desired
  • For the clay you can either premix it in your bowl with some water. Use the plastic spoon (not metal) until the clumps are mostly dissolved. Then add the clay concoction to your bath and soak for at least 20 minutes
  • Or you can create a body mask with the clay! Mix 1/2 cup of clay with a small amount of water to make a paste. (You may need more clay depending how much of your body you want to cover) Add the water slowly so that your paste doesn't get soupy. Stand in your tub (letting your feet soak in the Epsom salts) and cover your skin with the clay mix. Let dry for 5 minutes before sitting down into the water and letting it wash off. This mask effectively pulls toxins like heavy metals from the skin! Soak in bath at least 20 minutes then use a washcloth or loofah to scrub away any remaining clay off the skin.

Notes

The Clay Detox Bath Recipe is beneficial because it helps remove harmful toxins from our skin while replenishing essential minerals like sodium, calcium, zinc, magnesium, iron, and more.
It's also hydrating for dry skin as it helps moisturize without making it too oily or greasy afterward! Additionally, adding relaxing essential oils like lavender or chamomile will help you relax during your detox bath soak.
