  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Mix flour, turmeric, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
  • Whisk egg and water in another dish.
  • Coat chicken tenders first in the egg mixture, then in the flour mixture.
  • Fry in hot oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook until golden and done.
