Hydrogen Peroxide Bath Recipe

Maria Wihl
It's time to treat yourself to a re-invigorating experience - an Oxygen Detox Bath! This bath is literally like a breath of fresh air as it floods your blood with oxygen via your skin! It's also great during an illness as the ginger can help clear congestion or alleviate body aches.

Instructions

  • Fill the tub with warm/hot water and add the hydrogen peroxide and dried ginger
  • Soak in tub for at least 20 minutes
  • Do not submerge your head! The ginger could irritate your eyes, and hydrogen peroxide does have a bleaching effect that could change your hair color.

Notes

IMPORTANT: You will only get genuine benefits from this bath if you use 12% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide. The 3% stuff you find at the drugstore is too diluted and also isn't the best quality.
Here are more detailed benefits of this incredible bath.
  1. Enhanced Blood Oxygenation: Enjoying a hydrogen peroxide bath can contribute to the oxygenation of your blood. With double the oxygen content of water, the hydrogen peroxide molecule facilitates the absorption of oxygen through your skin, entering your bloodstream and promoting similar benefits to the oxygen you inhale through your lungs.
  2. Candida Control: Combatting a yeast infection, caused by the overgrowth of Candida bacteria, is as simple as indulging in a hydrogen peroxide bath. Much like disinfecting a small cut with hydrogen peroxide, this bath can effectively clear up yeast infections.
  3. Mite Elimination: While most of us coexist with beneficial skin mites, visible mites can become problematic for about 14% of the population. From body lice to bed bugs, a hydrogen peroxide bath proves to be an effective solution for getting rid of these unwelcome skin inhabitants.
  4. Comprehensive Skin Infection Treatment: From ulcers and bedsores to athlete's foot and shingles, a hydrogen peroxide bath offers a versatile approach to treating various skin infections. It is important to note that this method is recommended for infections affecting the skin below the neck, and caution should be taken to avoid submerging the head in the hydrogen peroxide bath.
